Border Arrests Rise for Third Straight Month to Most Under Trump

US Border Patrol agents made 8,943 arrests along the southwest border in April, the third straight monthly increase, according to US Customs and Border Protection data compiled by Bloomberg. Even as recent monthly tallies remain near historic lows, arrests have climbed almost 50% since January.
