Advent to Sell Up to €1.5 Billion of InPost Buyout Loan to Banks

Advent International LP seeks to sell about a third of a €4.2 billion ($4.9 billion) buyout loan for Polish parcel-locker company InPost SA to a group of banks, before the rest is marketed to institutional investors.

The private equity firm is set to offload between €1 billion to €1.5 billion of the debt backing the acquisition of InPost to international lenders, including Polish banks, following a number of expressions of interest in the deal, according to people familiar with the matter. The buyout is led by Advent and FedEx Corp.
