Polish Economic Risks Top Inflation Concerns for MPC’s Wnorowski

Poland’s economic growth may face a bigger jolt from the Middle East conflict than the country’s inflation, according to Monetary Policy Council member Henryk Wnorowski.

Wnorowski, one of 10 MPC panelists, told Bloomberg News that Poland must avoid hasty decisions regarding interest rates to ensure that any tightening doesn’t further burden the country’s $1 trillion economy.
