US Tells Allies of Possible Halt of Troop Rotation to Europe

Lithuanian Defense Minister Robertas Kaunas said the US has informed its allies about a possible pause in the rotation of troops to Europe as the Pentagon reviews deployment plans on the continent.

His comments follow a Wednesday reportBloomberg Terminal in the Wall Street Journal that the Pentagon abruptly canceled the deployment of an armored brigade to Europe. The move has affected 4,000 troops due to be sent to Poland, according to the New York Times.
