Chicago Fed Names Gadi Barlevy Director of Research Division

Gadi Barlevy was selected to lead the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s research division, the bank said in a statement Thursday.

Barlevy previously served as a senior economist and economic adviser at the Chicago Fed and will start the new role June 1. In the post, Barlevy — who has spent more than two decades at the institution — will oversee the bank’s economists.
