The impact of short selling on every day investors was highlighted on Thursday at Citron Research founder Andrew Left’s criminal trial.

Adam Gray, a car salesman from Ohio, took the witness stand in federal court in Los Angeles to talk about his experience trading stocks in 2018, when Left issued a short report regarding Canadian cannabis distributor Cronos Group Inc.
