Real Estate Investor Cloobeck Arrested in LA for Possible Felony

Stephen Cloobeck, the former California gubernatorial candidate and founder of Diamond Resorts, was arrested in Los Angeles County on Tuesday on suspicion of attempting to prevent or dissuade a victim or witness from testifying.

Cloobeck turned himself in after being notified there was a felony warrant for his arrest, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. He was released the same day after posting a $300,000 bail, per the statement.
