Netflix Gets More NFL Games, Including First on Thanksgiving Eve

Netflix Inc. picked up three additional National Football League games for the upcoming season, increasing the presence of the streaming-TV pioneer in America’s most-watched sport.

Netflix will air the league’s first-ever game in Australia, a matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and the San Francisco 49ers, in the initial week of the upcoming season that starts in September. The company also picked up the NFL’s first-ever Thanksgiving Eve game on Nov. 25, adding to the two Christmas Day games it has offered since 2024. Another game on Jan. 9, the final weekend of the regular season, will also go to Netflix, the league said in a statement.
