Hedge Fund Manager Atom Opens London Office in Global Expansion

Atom Investors is opening an office in London as the US firm seeks to double its allocations to UK-based money managers from $1 billion as part of its expansion plan.

The new hub, the hedge fund manager’s first overseas outpost, will serve as its international headquarters and help the firm pursue institutional investors and family offices locally and globally to be its clients, according to Basil Qunibi, chief executive officer and chief investment officer of Austin, Texas-based Atom.
