Fitch Ratings slashed its outlook on Bangladesh to ‘negative’ from ‘stable’, reflecting the country’s high vulnerability to the Middle East conflict.

It affirmed the country’s credit rating at ‘B+’, which is considered junk-rated or highly speculative for investors. Other countries with similar ratings include Moldova, Rwanda and Mongolia.
