Ammunition maker CSG NV approached the family that owns tank maker KNDS NV with an offer to buy a stake in the firm, the Financial Times reported.

CSG made the bid in mostly or all cash in recent weeks, the FT reported on Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
