Citadel Tells Some Quant Staff to Relocate From Hong Kong, FT Reports

Citadel has moved some of its researchers out of Hong Kong, the Financial Times reportedBloomberg Terminal, citing people familiar with the matter.

The US hedge fund told members of its Hong Kong-based global quantitative strategies team that they had to relocate, the people told the FT. Some researchers transferred to Singapore or Miami while others quit, the people said. Some of the people said it was due to data security concerns.
