Anduril Doubles Valuation to $61 Billion With Latest Funding

Anduril Industries Inc. doubled its valuation to $61 billion in a fresh $5 billion funding round led by Thrive Capital and Andreessen Horowitz, a sign of soaring interest in the defense technology company.

Anduril will invest “aggressively” in manufacturing capacity, research and development, and infrastructure, Chief Executive Officer Brian Schimpf wrote in an investor note reviewed by Bloomberg News. The note also confirms the deal, some details of which were previously reported by Bloomberg.
