AI Startup Fractile Raises $220 Million for Chip Production
Fractile, a UK startup designing chips to handle artificial intelligence workloads, has raised $220 million to help produce its first processors.
It was led by Accel, Factorial Funds, and Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. It also includes investment from Conviction, Felicis, Buckley Ventures, 8VC and Gigascale Capital, a fund from former Meta Platforms Inc. executive Mike Schroepfer.
