A Spanish citizen has tested positive for hantavirus after disembarking from a cruise ship hit by an outbreak of the disease, Health Minister Mónica García said in a post on X late Monday.
The patient “continues to be isolated, without symptoms” at a Madrid hospital, while 13 other passengers have tested negative, García said.
