South Carolina Rejects Trump Pressure to Redraw Congress Map

South Carolina’s Republican-led Senate rejected pressure from President Donald Trump to redraw the state’s congressional districts, a move that would have targeted one of the most senior Black Democrats on Capitol Hill.

The senate technically has time to revisit the issue before the current session ends on Thursday.
