Providence Equity Considers Acquisition of Gamma Communications

Gamma Communications Plc confirmed that Providence Equity Partners is among suitors exploring an acquisition of the London-listed telecommunication services company.

The discussions are at a preliminary stage and there’s no certainty that any offer will be made, Gamma said in a statement. Bloomberg News reported on Tuesday that the private equity firm has been working with advisers as it considers a potential purchase of Gamma.
