Football Star Messi Buys Long-Shuttered Barcelona Building

Argentine football star Lionel Messi’s real estate firm has bought a long-shuttered building in Barcelona, expanding the player’s investments in the city.
Edificio Rostower Socimi, Messi’s real estate investment trust, has acquired the building formerly known as the Via Wagner shopping center for €11.5 million ($13.5 million) from investment fund Santomera Bay, according to a statement from the seller Tuesday.
