Africa’s Vodacom Dividend Beats Estimates as Profit Jumps
Vodacom Group Ltd. declared a full-year dividend that beat analysts’ estimates as profit climbed.
The company, majority owned by the UK’s Vodafone Group Plc, announced a payout for the year through March of 7.35 rand, up from 6.20 rand a year earlier, it said in a statement Monday. The dividend compared with an average estimate of 7.05 rand a share by analysts in a Bloomberg survey.
