Slovenia’s Nationalist Leader Backs Legislation Critics Say Favors Rich

In a vote that showed Jansa controls a majority in parliament, legislators on Monday backed changes that include lowering the value-added tax on 15 staple goods, power and fuel, as well as capping social contributions for gross wages above €7,500 ($8,830).
