Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds resigned after two drones crashed in the eastern part of the Baltic country last week.

Prime Minister Evika Silina called on the minister to step down following the incidents with the unmanned aerial vehicles, saying he’d lost her and the public’s trust. Spruds had said that the craft were likely Ukrainian.
