Ray-Ban Heir Files Legal Challenge to €10 Billion Stake Sale

An heir to Ray-Ban billionaire Leonardo Del Vecchio is challenging the approval process for a roughly €10 billion ($11.8 billion) family deal that would reshape control of EssilorLuxottica SA’s biggest shareholder, according to people familiar with the matter.

The claim was filed by Rocco Basilico in a Luxembourg court on Friday, and could complicate the deal approved last month by owners of Delfin Sarl, the family holding company created by Del Vecchio to manage his investments, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing private information.
