Martin Leibowitz, Prolific Expert in Bond Investing, Dies at 89

Martin Leibowitz, a veteran of Salomon Brothers, TIAA-CREF and Morgan Stanley whose ideas reshaped how investment managers construct and evaluate their portfolios, has died. He was 89.

His death was confirmed by a spokesperson for Morgan Stanley, where he worked for years as a vice chairman in the research division.
