Hedge Fund Trader ‘Gazumps’ Millennium Again to Join Citadel

After agreeing for the second time to join Millennium Management, macro trader Pablo Duran Steinman has reneged once again.

Shortly before he was supposed to start trading for Izzy Englander’s hedge fund empire, Steinman backed out of the job contract, people with knowledge of the matter said, asking not to be identified discussing personnel. In 2021, he had quit Soros Fund Management for Millennium but ultimately joined ExodusPoint instead, the people said.
