Macquarie Profit Jumps, Commodities Chief Paid $25.5 Million

Macquarie Group Ltd.’s commodities and global markets division chief Simon Wright got a 56% pay bump after profit within the bank’s key business drove earnings growth.

Wright’s remuneration soared to A$35.4 million ($25.5 million) for the year, the firm’s annual report showed. Chief Executive Officer Shemara Wikramanayake got a 10% increase to A$26.5 million after risk management and regulatory issues curbed her pay.
