Emirates employees were allocated a lower bonus this year after the disruptions from the Iran war pushed the airline’s profit below the initial projection that forms the basis for the payout.

Dubai’s flag carrier will distribute a bonus equivalent to 20 weeks of salary to its more than 130,000 employees globally, according to people familiar with the matter. That’s below the 22-week payout last year, said the people, who asked not to be identified because Emirates doesn’t publicly communicate the figure.
