Wells Fargo Hires Pair of Executives for Wall Street Expansion
Wells Fargo & Co. is bolstering the ranks of its investment-banking business as it looks to grab more share from rivals.
Warren Young, who joins from Standard Chartered Plc in Singapore, will be the chief operating officer of Wells Fargo’s corporate and investment-bank business, reporting to Fernando Rivas, who is the unit’s chief executive officer, according to people familiar with the matter who asked not to be identified citing private information. Young will start on July 1 and be based in New York.
