Malaysia Set to Hold Rate as Energy Crisis Yet to Lift Inflation

Bank Negara Malaysia is expected to hold its overnight policy rate steady at 2.75% on Thursday, according to all 25 economists surveyed by Bloomberg. The central bank last adjusted borrowing costs in July, with a 25-basis-point cut, after keeping them unchanged for two years.
