The investment will go toward technology enhancements at Lilly’s first dedicated genetic medicine facility, which opened Wednesday, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. It will also support a future facility opening in 2027 that will become the nation’s largest production site for active pharmaceutical ingredients. Both are located in Lebanon, about 27 miles northwest of Indianapolis, where Lilly is based.
