Greer Says Trump and Xi Will Discuss China’s Iran Oil Purchases

US President Donald Trump will discuss China’s continued energy purchases from Iran when he meets with President Xi Jinping next week, according to US Trade Representative Jamieson Greer.

“We don’t want this to be something that derails the broader relationship, or any agreements that might come out of our meeting in Beijing,” Greer said in an interview with Bloomberg TV Wednesday. “But it’s certainly something that may come.”
