Democratic Republic of Congo President Felix Tshisekedi said he’s willing to run for a third term — which is currently unconstitutional — if the Congolese people ask him to through a referendum.

Congo’s 2006 constitution says a president can only serve two five-year terms and has a separate clause saying the length and number of the mandates cannot be changed.
