A foundation set up by Chang Yung-fa, the late billionaire founder of Taiwan’s Evergreen shipping and aviation empire, said it will seek a share of his more than $3 billion estate, reigniting a long-running family dispute over the inheritance.

The Chang Yung-fa Foundation said it recently learned that a portion of the estate has been transferred into the executors’ joint account, according to a statement on its website Tuesday.
