Most Brits Would Cut Back on Staycations After Tax, Survey Says

The vast majority of British families would cut back spending on domestic vacations if the government pushes ahead with a proposed tourism tax, according to a survey, as consumers grapple with a rise in the cost of living.

Some 73% said they would stop taking vacations in England, reduce trips or cut how much they spend during visits. More than half of the roughly 10,000 people surveyed by Stack Data Strategy opposed the proposed levy.
