Polish interest-rate cut chances significantly diminished after inflation accelerated in April, according to policymaker Ireneusz Dabrowski.

Inflation picked up to 3.2% this month from 3% in March, topping the 2.9% rate expected by analysts. The readout signals that the energy price fallout from the Iran war is starting to spread to other parts of the Polish economy, according to analysts.
