Train Crash Near Indonesian Capital Kills 15, Hurts Dozens
A train collision near Indonesia’s capital on Monday night killed at least fifteen people, injured dozens and disrupted rail transportation, authorities said.
An intercity train rear-ended a commuter train, which stopped due to an accident at a railway crossing near a station in Bekasi, a satellite city east of Jakarta, authorities said. The accident involved a stalled Green SM taxi that was hit by another commuter train coming in the opposite direction, they said.
