Barclays Traders Miss Out on Wall Street’s Markets Windfall

Barclays Plc fixed income traders struggled to capitalize on a volatile quarter, with returns falling short of US rivals that benefited from exposure to commodities markets.

Such traders brought in £1.7 billion ($2.3 billion), broadly flat year on year, while equities traders pulled in £1.1 billion, up 16% on a year ago, the bank said in a statement TuesdayBloomberg Terminal.
