BASF SE is raising prices on plastic-protecting chemicals, commonly used in the car and consumer goods industries, for a second time since the start of the Iran conflict in February.

The German manufacturer’s customers will see prices go up by an additional 25% on products in its antioxidant, process stabilizer and light stabilizer portfolio for plastic applications, BASF said Bloomberg TerminalMonday. The increase comes on top of a 20% hike Bloomberg Terminalannounced on March 4 and is effective immediately.
