Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez said he’ll maintain cooperation with NATO allies and brushed off a report that US officials are considering suspendingBloomberg Terminal his country from the alliance for its stance on the Iran war.

Spain doesn’t “work based on emails, but on official documents and positions issued by the US government,” Sánchez told reporters as European leaders gathered for a summit in Cyprus on Friday.
