Biggest Supermarket in the Baltics Plans Bond Market Return
Maxima Grupe UAB has been discussing a return to the bond market with investors after the Baltic food retailer repaid its only outstanding issue last year, according to sources familiar with the matter.
Company representatives have met with local and international fund managers to explain the latest financial data and a recent reorganization, and to assess appetite for a new bond, the people said, asking not to be identified because the discussions are private. If it did come back to the market, Maxima would likely raise €300 million ($352 million) in five-year unsecured notes, they added.
