Vista Strikes Deal to Speed Up Google AI in Software Portfolio

Vista Equity Partners is partnering with Alphabet Inc.’s Google Cloud to accelerate the deployment of artificial intelligence across the private equity firm’s portfolio of more than 90 software firms.

The multiyear deal will focus on agentic AI, which requires only limited human oversight, and allow Vista’s portfolio companies to access Google Cloud’s offerings, according to a statement Wednesday. Those include AI assistant Gemini, super-computing system AI Hypercomputer and Gemini Enterprise, a platform for building AI agents.
