China’s Proya Cosmetics Earnings Drop as Core Brand Sales Weaken

Chinese beauty products maker Proya Cosmetics Co. reported 2025 revenue that declined year‑on‑year and missed analyst estimates, a trend that extended into the first quarter as sales of its core brand lost momentum.

Revenue fell 1.7% in 2025 from the previous year to 10.6 billion yuan ($1.6 billion), according to a filing on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on Tuesday. That compares with analysts’ estimate of 11.1 billion yuan. Its net income fell 3.5% to 1.5 billion yuan for the year, also below estimates of 1.6 billion yuan.
