Australia’s Viva Sees Refinery Output at 90% Within Weeks

Viva Energy Group Ltd. shares fell after the company said its Geelong refinery in Australia will boost diesel, jet fuel and gasoline production to about 90% of capacity over the next few weeks after a major fire forced it to cut output.

Shares fell as much as 9.5% in early Sydney trading to their lowest price since March 19. They had been halted since Thursday.
