The Tisza party led by Hungarian prime minister-elect Peter Magyar further widened its parliamentary majority, a fresh tally showed Saturday, giving the pro-European movement an even stronger mandate for change after last weekend’s election.

Tisza, formed just two years ago, will have 141 seats in the 199-member assembly, up from about 138 in previous projections, the data showed. That’s a bigger majority than in any other previous election held under the current system created by outgoing Prime Minister Viktor Orban’s Fidesz party.
