Swedish Landlord Says Global Turmoil Is Making Tenants Hesitant

Swedish landlord Atrium Ljungberg AB had more tenants terminating contracts for office and commercial properties than signing new ones at the start of the year as geopolitical turmoil continued hamper decision making by businesses.

Net leasing, defined as new contracted rent minus terminated rent, was negative for a third time in four quarters, at minus 8 million kronor ($0.9 million), according to the company’s earnings report.
