Orban Rallies Far-Right Allies Amid Russian Meddling Claims

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban is looking to mobilize support from European Union far-right leaders as his government battles allegations of Russian attempts to tilt the country’s pivotal elections in favor of the nationalist incumbent.

Orban, who’s trailing in the opinion polls ahead of the April 12 ballot, is hosting a meeting of his Patriots political group in Budapest on Monday. Speakers include French National Rally leader Marine Le Pen and Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini.
