Greek Oil Tanker En Route to Russia Attacked in Black Sea

A Greek oil tanker was damaged by a projectile or drone in the Black Sea as it sailed toward Russia, Greece’s shipping ministry said.

The vessel was hit Saturday some 14 nautical miles (26 km) off Russia’s Black Sea port of Novorossiysk, the ministry said in a statement. The ship is currently sailing under its own steam and no oil spill has been detected, it added. The crew of 24 is safe, with no injuries reported.
