Maker of Mine-Destroying Sea Drones Rallies on Hormuz Threat

Exail Technologies SA shares have jumped in the past two weeks as Iran’s closure of the Strait of Hormuz thrust the French defense contractor’s seagoing, mine-destroying drones into the spotlight.

“If Iran were ever to dare to mine the Strait of Hormuz, we believe that the repercussions for Exail’s business would be significant,” TP ICAP analyst Julien Thomas, who recommends buying the shares, said in a report this week.
