Peru’s Presidential Frontrunner Has Just 11% Support, Poll Finds

Peru’s presidential race is wide open, with none of more than 30 candidates having strong support ahead of next month’s vote, according to a new poll.

Rafael López-Aliaga, a conservative former mayor of Lima and leader of the Popular Renovation party, is leading the race with 11.2% according to an Ipsos survey for the media outlet Peru 21.
