US, Ecuador Launch Operation Against ‘Terrorist Organizations’

The US and Ecuador launched a joint military action against what the US military called “Designated Terrorist Organizations in Ecuador,” according to US Southern Command.

“Together, we are taking decisive action to confront narco-terrorists who have long inflicted terror, violence, and corruption on citizens throughout the hemisphere,” Southcom said in a statement late Tuesday.
