NASA and the Office of Personnel Management have announced a push to recruit engineers and technologists less than a year after the space agency prompted thousands of employees to leave as part of President Donald Trump’s efforts to shrink the federal workforce.

The initiative, called NASA Force, will “identify and place high-impact technical talent into mission-critical roles,” according to a NASA statement Wednesday.
